A pretty fantastic wrap-up to the arc, but I wish we had gotten to see a bigger fight between Tickles and the gang. What I do love is all the kitten action, as I'm slowly starting to learn more of their names beyond Marigold. Tater Tot, Plops Town, Peanut... I'll catch 'em all eventually.

A bit disappointed in this one as it was a great story act but an incredibly short ending...

This has got to be one of the brightest covers I’ve seen this year. It reminds me so much of Lisa Frank’s style that it almost isn’t funny. Seriously though, don’t stare at the cover too long. It may not be good for your eyes (I’m jesting, of course). What is particularly ironic about the bright color is just how dark the first few pages are. It makes sense thematically – the Lumberjanes are fighting black and white B movie monster villains and all that. It’s actually pretty funny. It was funny, clever, and of course fairly chaotic. I mean, we’ve got all of the Lumberjanes plus Ripley’s kittens mixed together. Throw in some sugar…and suddenly the cover is making a whole lot more sense.

I'm a little torn about how to review this issue. On the one hand, I've enjoyed this storyline. Like I said about 55, it's been quite interesting to see another side of Ripley other than just her super hyper one. But... this issue sort of just fell right back onto that, and it felt incredibly short in doing so. I felt like I had barely started reading this before it was already done. And in a span of 2 panels, the story went from utter chaos to over. I just feel like - and this feels weird to sa I'm a little torn about how to review this issue. Just a little bit more story to it, rather than being so abrupt.

Well, that was probably the cutest method ever used to defeat a villain.

3.5 Stars. Not how I thought this plotline was going to go, but that's how most of these go.
