    An oldie but goodie. This is a good starter book for people seeking to improve themselves and their life situation. Anthony Robbins is a wonderful motivator and the undisputed master of personal achievement. He will pump you up and get you going on YOUR path! If you want something more complicated, study "Neuro-linguistic Programming". Robbin's uses NLP as the foundation for his own success. I have read all of Anthony Robbins' books and this book was foundational in getting me motivated to write An oldie but goodie. This is a good starter book for people seeking to improve themselves and their life situation. Anthony Robbins is a wonderful motivator and the undisputed master of personal achievement. He will pump you up and get you going on YOUR path! If you want something more complicated, study "Neuro-linguistic Programming". Robbin's uses NLP as the foundation for his own success. I have read all of Anthony Robbins' books and this book was foundational in getting me motivated to write a dream list 12 years ago. In that time I have achieved all of my goals except for traveling around the world. Fortunately, I still have plenty of time left for that. As a result, I would highly recommend this book.

    Tony Robbins is one of those guys who made it big with little education. He's no scholar, has no college degree, and learned his methods (NLP from which his motivational technique "neuroassociative conditioning" came) as a self-taught mentee. He is one of those guys who rose to the top because of character, failure / success (which is a great motivator in itself), enthusiasm, and, of course, power. His power resides in his belief, his faith that NC is valid and works. To a great degree, it does. Tony Robbins is one of those guys who made it big with little education. He's no scholar, has no college degree, and learned his methods (NLP from which his motivational technique "neuroassociative conditioning" came) as a self-taught mentee. He is one of those guys who rose to the top because of character, failure / success (which is a great motivator in itself), enthusiasm, and, of course, power. His power resides in his belief, his faith that NC is valid and works. To a great degree, it does. However, what is not addressed are those millions and millions of people who are not motivated, have never been motivated, and will never be motivated to achieve. Why? These failings begin in the early years of development and are based on a great deal and subsist to a great deal to failure at an early age to receive the conditioning needed. According to Robbins, only about 10% of those who listen to his tapes / CDs all the way through. He doesn't even mention how many who listen actually learn the methods / techniques therein and apply them on a consistent, ongoing basis. A major problem with the self-help industry, a problem I will take on through my product Give and Grow Yourself Rich and its follow up courses, seminars, coaching, and, most importantly, follow ups. ie: what are you doing now? Have you applied the techniques? How successful are you? And so on. Follow up and questioning to adjust where deficiencies lie is essential to anyone's success. Nevertheless, if you are able to apply what Robbins' preaches, you will improve, for his methods are sound and applicable to the lives of most.

    This book is excellent... The first 400 pages are tips and concepts he covers in more detail in his seminars. But the last 20 pages of this book are so heartfelt and so moving... goodness... you have to read the book. I can't say enough good things about a man I barely know. My father is the greatest man that ever lived to me and everyday, I strive to become someone like him. The only other person that has made a material difference on the way I live my life is Tony Robbins. If you want answers. This book is excellent... The first 400 pages are tips and concepts he covers in more detail in his seminars. But the last 20 pages of this book are so heartfelt and so moving... goodness... you have to read the book. I can't say enough good things about a man I barely know. My father is the greatest man that ever lived to me and everyday, I strive to become someone like him. If you want answers... love, living with purpose, money, health... you gotta check out his seminar. Its the best money I have ever spent.

    I started reading Unlimited Power: The Science Of Personal Achievement because I wanted to know something about NLP. I'm not sure if I've fulfilled or not this purpose and I'm not sure if this book has been about it. Yes, the book claims to be about NLP techniques that will make you a good communicator (not only when communication is established with other people, but also when you're communicating to yourself). However, the feeling I have is that the book attempts to be a "life-fixer"; it encour I started reading Unlimited Power: The Science Of Personal Achievement because I wanted to know something about NLP. I'm not sure if I've fulfilled or not this purpose and I'm not sure if this book has been about it. Yes, the book claims to be about NLP techniques that will make you a good communicator (not only when communication is established with other people, but also when you're communicating to yourself). However, the feeling I have is that the book attempts to be a "life-fixer"; it encourages the reader to change his/her life. Although I'm OK with the idea, I find some of the means quite absurd and insufficient. Let's start with those parts I like the most. I like the idea of "modelling". "Modelling" is about eliciting the strategies of someone who achieves very effectively the results you desire. For example, let's assume you're doing poorly at college. A modelling strategy would be to find the student with the best results and copy his/her tactics. The way in which modelling is carried out is explained in greater detail and it involves a little more sophistication that I'm writing here, but that's the main idea. I love how modelling encourages the modeller to be more observant. It's a call to awareness and it focuses on the solution of the problem rather than the causes. Actually, I like a bunch of other things. I was pleased to learn about two different ways of being motivated. I can be motivated to move towards an objective or away from some sort of situation. I liked the difference between pro-activity and reactivity. I'm not sure what should I think about other techniques such as anchoring, which is about installing physical triggers to direct someone into a specific inner state. At least to a certain level, it sounds like hypnosis. Now, the part that really put me into an incredibly angry and negative state (in Anthony Robbins' terminology): the chapter in which the book deals with nutrition. I find this chapter one of the most incongruence vortices I read in the last few years. Time to quote. Tony is talking about a time in which he was fat and he wanted to get thinner. The nutritional field was so contradictory and confusing, however, I didn't know what to do at first. I'd read one book, and it would say do this and this and this and you'll live forever. So I'd get all excited - until I got to the next book, which said if you did all those things, you'd die, so do this and that and this. Of course, as soon as I read the third book, it also contradicted the first two. I don't blame Robbins for this. Nevertheless, in his own book he dares to contradict whatever is known about nutrition (and whatever he himself read in book 1, 2 and 3) with more instructions about what you should do to enjoy great health. Many of those instructions are quite bold and presumptuous. I won't go through them all, but I'll expose some of the most preposterous. Eat less, live more. The book develops more on that. It shows some lousy statistics which provide incomplete data about some tests on animals (it abruptly assumes the results must be the same in humans although it hasn't been experimented yet). Seriously, I was almost expecting the quote "eat nothing, live forever" coming. I don't have solid data of people affected with anorexia and their quality of life, but I'm sure that's not how I want to live. If you look to nature and you see the biggest and most powerful animals you'll discover they're herbivores. Gorillas, elephants, rhinoceroses, and so on all eat only water-rich foods. Herbivores live longer than carnivores. Think of a vulture. Why do you think it looks that way? It doesn't eat water-rich foods. If you eat something that's dried and dead, guess what you're going to look like? As you can see, Robbins is promoting vegetarianism. His arguments aren't very solid though. If I would think of a powerful animal I would think of an eagle, a crocodile or a shark (all of them carnivores). Try asking your friend to think of a powerful animal in freedom moving through his environment with great ease and security. I did this experiment once and most of the people answered a member of the subfamily Pantherinae (lion, tiger, panther...). Can't I look like a tiger then? I think a tiger looks very good... Also, the statement that "herbivores live longer than carnivores" is quite imprecise. The corrected sentence is: "some herbivores live longer than some carnivores". Setting nutrition aside, there is also something that I consider very pretentious: self-quoting. Through the book the reader finds many quotes from great philosophers, politicians, scientists... and Anthony Robbins. It's quite weird to read a book of Anthony Robbins and read a blockquote signed by himself. It sounds arrogant and it repels me. Finally, I think success in life doesn't come as the aftermath of executing a batch of techniques one after the other. Those techniques might prove useful, I won't deny it; I'm planning to test some of them. However, this book misses the point. The key to succeed in whatever enterprise you may think of is effort. In the case of the student I mentioned as an example at the beginning of the review, he could elicit very well all of the steps his model takes to be a good student, but if he really wants to see an improvement in his marks, the first thing he has to consider is if he's willing to make the sacrifices required. He might have the feeling that he needs more time spent on studying. Perhaps he needs to cut down TV time or play less to video games. Good results require sacrifices. The question is, is he willing to pay the price?

    "إذا أردت أن تقرأ كتاب واحد هذا العام ليُساعدك على أن تكون أفضل اقرأ هذا الكتاب" استمريت في قراءة هذا الكتاب لما يُقارب الشهر.. لأنني قرأته كما لم أقرأ أي كتاب آخر من قبل بتمعّن وتركيز وذلك بسبب ما سمعت وقرأت عنه وأيضًا لمحتواه الدسم جدًا .. كتاب ممتاز للكاتب والمدرب الغني عن التعريف أنتوني روبنز .. يتحدّث فيه بأسلوب محفّز وشيّق عن التغيير وتحقيق الأهداف من خلال 21 فصل في 3 أقسام رئيسية .. الكتاب ذو محتوى مفيد جدًا وقيّم أنصح بقراءته فقط لمن سيُنفّذ ما جاء فيه من حيَل وتدريبات وأساليب.

( الصفات الرئيسية التى يتم غرسها فى النفس من أجل النجاح:- 1- الشغف الذى قد يصل إلى حد الهوس. 2- الإستراتجية وهى وسيلة لتنظيم الموارد. 3- الطاقة وقد تكون الإلتزام الصارم أو الحيويه....أو...... 4- إتقان و إجادة فن الإتصال مع نفسك ، بمعنى أنه مثلا إذا كانت حواس الجسم ترسل إشارات ، وكانت تفسر على أنها ألم أو قصور أو إرهاق ، فيمكن عن طريق الإتصال مع نفسك أن تغير معناها ويستمر فى التواصل مع الجهاز العصبى بصورة تجعل الجسم يستمر فى العمل. 5- محاكاة نماذج التفوق الشخصى ، والمحاكاة هى: أكتشاف ما يقوم به الناس على وجه الدقة لتحقيق نتيجة معينة وكــيـف تمكن هذا الشخص من تحقيق النتائج؟!

Admittedly, the book is quite long for a self-help guide but it offers some exciting and inspirational strategies for success in an increasingly competitive and seemingly overwhelming world. I find that it perfectly complements Robbins' first book 'Awaken the Giant Inside'. He does an exceptional job of laying it all down in a step-by-step approach that anyone can follow. However, I have to say that to see the results of what he is recommending you have to practice what you read. It will not work if you simply read and do nothing about it. This read is recommended to anyone who is serious about understanding the concept of mind over matter and how to tap into it.

    [أنتوني روبنز: قدرات غير محدودة، إلكتروني، الطبعة الأولى 2001، تنمية ذاتية، 559 صفحة] قد يكون هذا كتاب التنمية الذاتية الشامل والذي لن تحتاج بعد قراءته إلى قراءة أي شيء آخر في هذا المجال (على الأقل من توني روبنز نفسه). رحلتي مع توني روبنز بدأت مع كتابه الأول "أيقظ قواك الخفية" والذي اثار اعجابي بشدة، فكان لزاماً أن اتابع الرحلة بقراءة "قدرات غير محدودة" لتكتمل عندي رؤية الكاتب وأفكاره، خصوصاً وأنه نوّه في كتابه الأول في عدة مواضع على ضرورة (أو استحباب) قراءة كتابه الأول هذا. لستُ بحاجة بعد الآن ل [أنتوني روبنز: قدرات غير محدودة، إلكتروني، الطبعة الأولى 2001، تنمية ذاتية، 559 صفحة] قد يكون هذا كتاب التنمية الذاتية الشامل والذي لن تحتاج بعد قراءته إلى قراءة أي شيء آخر في هذا المجال (على الأقل من توني روبنز نفسه). رحلتي مع توني روبنز بدأت مع كتابه الأول "أيقظ قواك الخفية" والذي اثار اعجابي بشدة، فكان لزاماً أن اتابع الرحلة بقراءة "قدرات غير محدودة" لتكتمل عندي رؤية الكاتب وأفكاره، خصوصاً وأنه نوّه في كتابه الأول في عدة مواضع على ضرورة (أو استحباب) قراءة كتابه الأول هذا. لستُ بحاجة بعد الآن لقراءة "نصائح من صديق" أو "خطوات عملاقة" لنفس الكاتب، فكل ما يريد توني روبنز ايصاله صار واضحاً ومكتملاً. بشكلٍ عام، وكما ذكرتُ في الجزء الأخير من مراجعتي لـ "أيقظ قواك الخفية"، فإن محتوى الكتابين يكاد يكون متطابقاً بشكل ملحوظ: الفكرة الرئيسية هي ذاتها، التفاصيل والخطوات التي تضمنها الكتابين تكاد تكون متاطابقة سوى اختلاف الأسلوب والمصطلحات نوعاً ما، كما أن التمارين المضمنة في كلا الكتابين تؤدي نفس الغرض تماماً سوى أنها عرضت بشكل أكثر تفصيلاً واسهاباً في شرح النتائج. قد تشعر بملل وعدم تحفيز عند قراءتك لهذا الكتاب بعد أن تقرأ أيقظ قواك الخفية. إذا ما الجديد الذي أتى به توني روبنز هنا؟ برأيي، الفصل الأكثر تشويقاً في الكتاب كان فصل " الطاقة وقود النجاح". عرض الكاتب فيه مفاهيم جديدة كلياً عن تلك التي يعرفها ويطبقها العديد منّا يومياً، كما أنه هدم العديد من الأفكار والنظم الخاطئة فيما يتعلق بالغذاء والصحة بعد أن اثبت علمياً أنها خاطئة بل ومدمرة للصحة. مع أن أغلب الأفكار التي احتواها الكتاب كانت بالفعل رائعة ومدعمة بقصص واقعية وتمارين عملية، إلا انني شعرتُ بالملل في مواضع عدّة من الكتاب بس التكرار الواضح ونمط الإعادة مما يضفي بعض الملل والضجر على تجربة القراءة. بقية محتوى الكتاب كما ذكرة متطابق مع الكتاب الأول، وعليه فإن أغلب ما ذكرته في مراجعتي الأولى ينطبق على هذا الكتاب أيظاً. أخيراً، محتوى الكتاب الرائع يبقى مجرد أفكار مالم يتم تطبيقها. ولا غرابة أن تبدو لك بعض هذه الافكار "سخيفة" و "مجنونة" ما لم تطبقاها وتختبر مفعولها بنفسك وعلى الأخرين من حولك.

Whenever I'm meeting new people in business and parties I will do the following things to create a better sense of rapport: say their name quite often, match their body language (posture, position), match their voice (volume, tempo, tone, tembre). 2. If I want to create rapport, whenever I'm about to disagree with someone, I won't be abrupt. Instead I will use the following phrases: a) "I appreciate what you're saying and..." b) "I respect it and..." c) "I agree and..." If you have previous experience in NLP and psychology, you will be familiar with some principles found in the book. Still, I urge you to take a look. The principles and exercises described here are some of the key things in human communication, success and managing oneself.

    What els is there to say about Tony Robbins.... This book is good for NOT for everyone. The concepts of NLP aren't easily received for people new to self-help books. Tony does a good job of breaking things down, but there is a lot of information to go over. Hence the reason the book is so loonngggg. Unlimited power will do exactly what it says, give you the power to make the changes you want in life using NLP. If you're new to self-help books, you may want to start with something different like N What els is there to say about Tony Robbins.... This book is good for NOT for everyone. The concepts of NLP aren't easily received for people new to self-help books. Tony does a good job of breaking things down, but there is a lot of information to go over. Hence the reason the book is so loonngggg. Unlimited power will do exactly what it says, give you the power to make the changes you want in life using NLP. If you're new to self-help books, you may want to start with something different like Notes from a Friend by Tony Robbins. But don't let being new stop you. With dedication and consistent action you can pick this book up and have everything you need to make instant changes in your life assuming you follow through.

Very few speakers can beat Tony's enthusiasm and larger than life charisma. Highly recommend it - downloaded from itunes for $10 and have it installed on my ipod for listening again and again! Well worth $10!     Ughhh I hated the first half of the book! I read this book because it was given to me by my uncle & he really wanted me to read it. I felt like he repeats things a little too much & that the book could have been shorter. The second half is pretty exciting! Stuff that you can apply. I love that he made sure to explain that the stuff he's talking about makes sense. If you're into NLP, you'll probably enjoy this.

    Not as self helpy as you might think I was initially skeptical of this book when I downloaded it. I generally don't like self help and think it to be mostly fluff when it needs to be substance. I was wrong. Sure, there are stories in here you can skim over when you are tired and still get the gist of the book. But much of the value of this book and the good self help out there is to put into words and reinforce things you already kind of knew, but needed to have said to you. NLP seems kitschy at first but has some usefulness. Modeling seems intuitive but so few people do it. Knowing you actually need to act is something many people say they understand, but very few actually carry out. I picked up this book during a particularly tumultuous month in my life and am glad I did so. It was one of the little reminders I needed that some people have life happen to them and some people happen to life. I would recommend picking this book up.

If you take your take, follow the exercices, THINK, and pay close attention to the meaningful material it's impossible to still be the same person. Here you will learn how to change your perspective to take every as a challenge in the best way possible. Succeed and get what you really want to get. Get rid of the bullshit.     A great reference book for those wanting to understand the power of the mind. There are a lot of NLP books out there, but Tony writes in a very motivational and uplifiting way. I still use this as a reference book in everyday life to go back and revisit some of the techniques. One of the top books in the field of personal achievement.

Para alcanzar el éxito una herramienta útil es el modelado que consiste en reproducir la excelencia de otros. Robbins explica la técnica del modelado que consiste en calibrar y describir la sintaxis o secuencia en que se vinculan los acontecimientos internos y externos. La sintaxis viene regida por un patrón que varía en cada sujeto e incluso en cada situación (visual, auditivo o cinestético) y subpatrones. Además conviene identificar las submodalidades. Determinar el orden puede ayudarnos a cambiar conductas que deseamos mejorar y a modelar a las persona que logran los objetivos que ansiamos. Considero que la mayor aportación del libro consiste en entender cómo creamos nuestros estados y nuestros comportamientos, entendiendo que dos son los factores que contribuyen (las representaciones internas que nos creamos y la fisiologías que generan). Ser capaz de entender ese proceso puede dotarnos de poder sin límites. Emplear técnicas como el patrón de tris tras para sustituir una conducta por otra parece casi ciencia ficción. Pero funciona. Lo mismo ocurre con la creación de anclajes... Un libro que releeré sin duda.

The meaning of communication is the response that you get --» A lot of people have been taught that if you communicate with somebody and they don't get your communication, then that's their stuff! This is not true as it doesn't enhance your relationship with them at all. What you need to understand and remember is that the result that you've produced is because of how you used your physiology, tonality and words. So, what you want to be, is committed to producing results in your communications that work and not about making somebody wrong because they have different associations to those physiology, tonality and words. So, if you want to produce a different result, then all you need to do is just change your approach of communication. You keep changing your approach of communication until you get communication that works. A lot of people say that intention means everything, that is also not true! Intention means nothing, all intention does is provide a direction, results means everything. I'm committed to do WEIT (whatever it takes) to succeed without harming another person --» Commitment to this is like a glue that holds the rest of the commitments together. Commitment is the most powerful tool that you have as a human being. It's like all of the most perfect pieces of advice put together into the most perfect book, written perfectly, structured perfectly, flowing perfectly and in an easy to understand format. At the same time, trying to employ all of these techniques is just too much for a beginner all at once, but one step at a time, I will master th This is THE ONLY book you need to read. I borrowed this from my library, however judging from the sheer amount of useful notes I made from this book, I need to buy myself a copy, because all I did was retype this book. This book is really an educational short course. It may take you a little longer to read because I strongly advise you complete the small activities throughout the book (there's not too many). You simply will not get everything you can from this book if you skip over them. This book for me, is life changing. Thank you I've learnt: * the ultimate success formula Know your outcome, take action, develop the sensory acuity to know wha you're getting and change your behaviour until you get what you want. * success is available to all of us but those who achieve it are those who take action. Knowledge is important but it's not enough. * Modelling. Every result produced by an individual was created by some specific set of actions in some specific syntax. You can greatly decrease the time it takes to master something by modelling the internal actions (mental) and external actions (physical) of people who produce outstanding results. * Communication is key. Communication with yourself. The meaning of any event is the meaning you give it. You can send your brain powerful, positive signals that will make everything work for you or you can send your brain signals about what you can't do. Communication with others. You have learnt everything in this book to become a master communicator. * Positive beliefs can make you a master. Negative. Reliefs can make you a loser. For example, he says that right-handed people and some left-handed people look up and left when asked to remember something visual that actually happened. They look up and right when asked to use their imagination to construct an image. They look up when thinking about things they like and down when thinking about things they dislike. This knowledge can be used, he says, to interpret someone else's thought patterns and to deliberately reprogram your own thoughts. For example, if you're trying to replace chocolate with carrots in your diet, learn to visualize carrots in the top left of your vision and chocolate in the lower left of your vision. (He does, in fact, recommend veganism for health reasons and includes a chart of recommended vegetables.) He also recommends distinguishing whether certain memories are visual, aural, kinesthetic, etc. because this will help you reprogram and redirect your thoughts and make new "anchors" (similar to what we might call "triggers" today). He notes that our personal values are shaped throughout our lives and we will be unhappy if we do not live consistently with them. We should list our most cherished values--especially in the context of relationships--and ask ourselves and our partners why those values are important. He outlines character traits that contribute to success: passion, belief, strategy, clarity of values, energy, bonding power, and mastery of communication. He says beliefs are formed through environment, events, knowledge, past results, and visualizing the future here and now.

This is about producing results in our lives, through action. He looks at various things such as our belief system, discusses Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP, how language effects our nervous system) modeling other successful people's traits, such as energy, passion, belief, clarity of values, and mastering communication. He teaches: The quality of our life is the quality of our communication - with ourselves and others. He gave an example of the Colonel Sanders story of his starting Kentucky Fried Chicken: Beginning as a retiree on social security, with nothing more than a good recipe and an idea - and being rejected 1009 times before getting his first franchise partner saying yes. I figure this is the low-cost, entry-level condensed version for busy people, to expose more people to Tony's message and help draw people to the "full meal deal experience." I'm impressed and looking forward to much more, so I'll be reading the full book and getting more audio products.

    Now. i am no professional book reviewer, but i believe this is by far one of the books that should definitely be read by anyone who wishes to improve quality of his life. Unlimited Power shows you ways which you can do so, primarily through his tactics of NLP. It may seem like a very foreign concept, but even for an A Level graduate with average results like me, the tactics mentioned are simple and easy to digest. What's more: they work. Not just limited to motivating one self, Unlimited Power t Now. i am no professional book reviewer, but i believe this is by far one of the books that should definitely be read by anyone who wishes to improve quality of his life. Unlimited Power shows you ways which you can do so, primarily through his tactics of NLP. It may seem like a very foreign concept, but even for an A Level graduate with average results like me, the tactics mentioned are simple and easy to digest. What's more: they work. Not just limited to motivating one self, Unlimited Power teaches you to cure phobias, acheive a prolonged period of resourcefulness and energy, create rapport with others etc. Personally, i was a little skeptical at first when starting out, but with nothing to lose with my free time in camp, i borrowed the book from my friend and i must say, it was one of the best decisions in my life.
